Faircloth & Supply is an ethical women’s linen line working towards increasing the economic empowerment of women worldwide. Designer Phoebe Dahl uses durable and simple organic fabrics to create elegant, comfortable and functional linen dresses, tops and bottoms for women.
We stopped into their Popup Shop in Echo Park recently and were inspired by what we learned. For every piece that is purchased from Fair Cloth Supply, a school uniform is provided for a girl in Nepal. The project was created in 2014 when founder Phoebe Dahl visited Nepal and fell in love with the culture and people and sought out a way to help advance education opportunities for girls and women.
We’ve got to love just about everything that Phoebe and Faircloth are doing. Sustainable fashion, social good and a brand that feels right at home in LA. Oh and Phoebe even owns a potbelly pig, yeah that’s a thing. Faircloth is an easy add to our short list for holiday shopping this year.
