Weโ€™ve researched and outfitted our homes with the best sustainable furniture companies for over ten years. These are our picks for bistro tables that are durable, built to withstand weather, and made with care.

Just because you have a tiny outdoor space doesnโ€™t mean you canโ€™t create a little outdoor oasis to sit out and enjoy the sun. Bistro tables are perfect for small spaces because they donโ€™t take up a lot of room but can still comfortably seat two. Some of the tables on this list even fold up for easy storage. Whether you have a patio or balcony, weโ€™ve rounded up the perfect tables to enjoy a little morning cup of coffee or dinner al fresco this summer. โ˜€๏ธ

What to consider when shopping for a bistro table:

One of the biggest things to consider when youโ€™re shopping for a bistro table is the durability of the table. Is it built to withstand weather conditions? Look for materials like teakwood coated in a weatherproof sealant, recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), or powder-coated aluminum or steel. All of these are built to withstand rain, snow, and sun. If youโ€™re looking for the most sustainable and eco-friendly option, go for a responsibly and sustainably sourced teakwood table. Look for certifications like Forest Steward Council (FSC) Certified for tables made of wood, because it ensures the wood is responsibly sourced. For HDPE, look for tables made from recycled plastic. HDPE is endlessly recyclable, so itโ€™s a good choice for a circular option.

Our criteria:

Our team is regularly researching and personally using the best sustainable furniture in our homes โ€“ and our patios! We rounded up the best bistro tables and dining tables for small outdoor spaces that are crafted with durable materials and built to withstand weather.

  • SMALL-SPACE FRIENDLY | These outdoor dining tables are made for small spaces. They leave a small footprint and donโ€™t take up too much space. And some of the tables on this list even fold up for easy storage.
  • DURABLE | The bistro tables on this list are made to last. Theyโ€™re built from durable, weatherproof materials like teakwood, HDPE, and coated metals with marine-grade hardware to withstand the elements.
  • ECO-FRIENDLY | The brands on this list use eco-friendly and sustainable processes in sourcing and manufacturing processes for their bistro tables, including using recycled and sustainably certified materials.
