Meet Sana and Nihar of Indelust.com

Sana Rezwan, a brilliant creative director and founder of the luxury fashion store and art gallery, MAISON, in Bangalore, India, meets Nihar Sait, a corporate finance professional with over 15 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Together, the married couple create Indelust.com, the first-ever online luxury boutique exclusively focused on ethical fashion, art and design from the Indian subcontinent.

MINIMAL, REFINED, VERSATILE DESIGNS

Sana and Nihar’s vision is to build global awareness of an emerging design sensibility originating from the Indian subcontinent. This emerging e-commerce site allows consumers from all over the world to access ethically sourced, artistically curated fashion and design objects created in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. Their refined and versatile collections feature women’s and men’s ready to wear, jewelry and accessories as well as home décor, furniture and art.

SUSTAINABILITY

The inspiration for Indelust was motivated by the tragic events of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on April 24, 2013 – the deadliest garment factory disaster in history. Indelust.com is dedicated to building a fashion business that is ethical and profitable to ensure that their local designers and artisans can earn a sustainable living. To help execute their value for sustainability, Sana & Nihar have partnered with NEST, a New York-based, non-profit organization dedicated to training, building and reviving artisan traditions and businesses in developing countries, like India, Indonesia, Swaziland and Peru. Their mission is to align the interests of local designers and artisans to produce ethically sourced goods. We love that they are accomplishing this mission with elevated, artful designs inspired by the beauty of the Indian subcontinent.
