Embrace your inner Gigi Hadid and bring some Vogue into your sustainable wardrobe. Some high-fashion designers have been eco-friendly since day one, others are jumping onto the trend by creating collections that are sustainably focused – either way they are here to slay. You’d never be able to tell with these high fashion designers that their beautifully-made clothes are also making the world a better place; thankfully we’re here to brag for them.

Some brands are completely sustainable, others have sustainable couture sections. Here are our favorite eco-friendly high fashion designers. Catch outfits by these designers strutting on the red carpet or on celebrities working the paparazzi on the streets. These designers show that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.

1. Stella McCartney

Ahead of the curve, and unknown to many, Stella McCartney’s fashion has always been sustainable. In a 2016 interview with Vogue, Stella McCartney dove into her desire to create a sustainable couture brand by asserting her problem with many previous eco-friendly clothing. “It was often scratchy and oatmeal-y. What’s the point of designing an oatmeal shirt if nobody buys it? It would go to a landfill, and that would be just as bad.” Bad her pieces are not. Her stunning designs are frequently shown off by celebrities at events around the world.
