Why I’m Sticking With Perelel’s Daily Resilience Complex (2026 Review)
Summary: Perelel’s Daily Resilience Complex is a fast-dissolving powder with lactoferrin to support iron absorption and immune health, and collagen peptides for joint, skin, and muscle support. It’s astoundingly easy to take, even for a mom of two with a busy schedule, and I’ve already felt an improvement in my recovery from exercise and wellbeing after a few weeks.
What I Love:
- Perelel is ethical and sustainable, and I love its commitment to the health of moms, moms-to-be, and women who could use a boost internally. I felt like it was targeted to my needs, past, present, and future.
- I’ve never tried a powder supplement before, and I thought I’d hate it. Turns out, the Daily Resilience Complex is so much easier and low-maintenance than I expected.
- I have two kids and not a lot of time in the morning, but adding this to my routine took about two minutes out of my day. It fit into my lifestyle effortlessly.
- I genuinely do feel better in the relatively short time I’ve taken it. My body is holding up better, and I have (relatively) more energy while chasing around my kids.
- Perelel sometimes has sales, and they offer additional savings through subscriptions.
Things To Note:
- I found that taking the Daily Resilience Complex 15 minutes before my iron supplement was most effective for my routine. I can’t take the iron supplement on an empty stomach, so I have to make sure I get the sequence right.
- Coffee and smoothies are perfect, since they’re very hot and very cold, aiding faster absorption. I found mildly cold liquids, like water, to be less effective. Don’t try putting it in sparkling water!
- It’s more expensive than some of my other supplements, but with that comes a host of extra benefits. So this is an investment, but a worthwhile one.
As a mom to two toddlers, I care about what we keep in the house and what goes into our bodies. But let’s be honest: I’ve always read the back of my food and vitamin labels. I’m a person with food sensitivities and IBS, so hidden ingredients and toxins can aggravate my stomach and intestines. So I’m motivated by both sustainability and practicality. All of my supplements have to come from trustworthy brands and have minimal, easily identifiable ingredients. As a person who hates waste, I don’t want to spend time trying a bunch of different types of pills and powders, only to not use them when I find out they don’t work for me.
“All of my supplements have to come from trustworthy brands and have minimal, easily identifiable ingredients.”
I’m relatively new to Perelel and its doctor-made vitamins for women. I’m not new to supplements, though, particularly my daily iron pill. I first tested as anemic more than a decade ago, and ever since then I’ve had to work to keep my levels up — particularly during my pregnancies and now in early perimenopause. I can only tolerate the most gentle iron pills. Anything stronger will upset my stomach and give me terrible cramps. In other words, absorption is kind of a problem for me.
Also, I’m always looking for ways to get more energy and feel better (did I mention my two kids under six?). We’ve been quite sick this winter, and I’m on the road to recovery after about three months of illness. My immune system has been compromised, and I feel like it’s been in desperate need of some TLC. Aside from maxing out fruits and veggies, though, I haven’t really had a strategic plan for getting better in the long term. Enter Perelel!
About Perelel and the Daily Resilience Complex
In case you’re unfamiliar, the brand is OB/GYN-founded, research-backed, and third-party tested. Two moms-to-be who were fed up with the state of prenatals on the market decided to design a line of vitamins with better ingredients targeted to their needs. Perelel’s medical co-founder is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who works with a group of multidisciplinary experts (called the “Perelel Panel”), including fertility specialists and nutrition experts, on product development. Unlike most supplement brands, Perelel performs rigorous scientific validation through independent studies, and uses FDA-registered and inspected facilities that are certified as having Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). For each of their products, they cite all the research that supports the benefits of the ingredients. And for each batch, they perform micro, heavy metal, and purity testing.

The Daily Resilience Complex, launched in April 2026, is designed to build “whole-body resilience.” Its two major ingredients are lactoferrin and collagen peptides, both clinically backed ingredients that are shown to support female-specific needs. Lactoferrin is an iron-binding glycoprotein, which is just a fancy way of saying it helps your body with iron absorption while also supporting your immune system and promoting gut health. Collagen peptides are highly hydrolyzed to be more bioavailable — in other words, easier for the body to digest so it can work its magic. The protein is most well known for keeping skin elastic, keeping joints healthy, and supporting muscle recovery, among other things. One scoop (11 grams) also provides nine grams of protein.
My review of the Daily Resilience Complex
The Daily Resilience Complex came in a small cardboard box. I loved the peach-colored pouch, and it sat invitingly on my kitchen counter for when I was ready to use it. Once I opened it up, the fine, soft powder was odorless. It comes with its own scooper, which looked bigger than I expected. I was a teeny bit intimidated by how much powder came in each dose.

The instructions on the package note that you can “mix one scoop into your favorite hot or cold liquid.” I tried it in cold tap water, and it didn’t dissolve fully. Undeterred, I checked the instructions on the Perelel site. They specify that it works particularly well in coffee and smoothies — which is actually perfect for me, since I regularly make both. (They also show that you can mix the Complex into water more effectively using an electric stirrer, which is a good tip.)
First I tried the Daily Resilience Complex in my morning coffee, which I take with a splash of oat milk. It dissolved instantly and didn’t impact the taste at all. The only drawback, if you can call it that, was that I needed to make sure I finished my cup completely to get the full dose. It’s tougher than it sounds, with two small kids running around! I find the Complex dissolves best in at least eight ounces of liquid, so I’ll sometimes make myself a mini-cup of coffee to make sure I finish it before morning drop-off.
The Complex was even more effective in my morning or post-workout smoothies. I used a combination of fresh and frozen fruits with oat milk and a full scoop; I never even noticed the addition. It also prevented any stomach issues when I ate it this way!
I settled on a cadence of taking the Complex every other day alongside my gentle iron pill. The evidence suggests that taking iron on alternate days is a good way to maximize absorption and minimize stomach irritation.
Since starting Perelel, my stomach and intestines have felt better, especially in the context of taking my other supplements. The only time it didn’t make me feel better was when I took it, then my daily iron, on a totally empty stomach. The Complex doesn’t need to be taken with food, but I find iron really does. I made sure to eat a banana with my coffee in the morning, and that fixed the issue. After that, it was a great way to take my pills, while also knowing the Complex was helping me digest the iron.
I often feel “icky” in an indefinable way, and the Daily Resilience Complex helped with that problem too. I have to pair it with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, but I felt like adding this to my life gave me more energy. It’s hard to explain, but this has made me feel…stronger, from the inside. It’s subtle, but I feel like my body is handling my various mom-related chores and responsibilities more effectively. I’m moving faster and with more energy, in other words.

In a moment of inconvenient (or maybe useful) timing, our whole family was actually struck with a stomach bug while I was testing the product. Being so ill was — predictably — an absolute bummer, especially since I’ve been sick a lot this winter. In the weeks when our house gets hit with whatever’s going around, I feel like I’m holding up better than I used to. It used to take my stomach weeks to feel back to normal. And having more energy meant I could more effectively take care of some very unhappy barfing toddlers.
What’s even cooler, now, is that I can start mixing the Complex in different meals beyond my coffee and smoothies. The website has instructions for other recipes you can use the Complex in, including Fudge Bites and Overnight Oats. There are plenty of other ways I can tailor it to my daily life, in other words. I’m eyeballing the brand’s Perimenopause Support Pack instead of my existing multivitamin, too, since this one is complementary to other Perel products. I feel like this may start to become a major part of my wellness routine.
So, is the Daily Resilience Complex worth it?
The Daily Resilience Complex is for anyone who wants to feel better in their body, whether they’re navigating a demanding season of life, feeling run down, or just feeling that they could use a boost. This might not be a good fit if you really dislike powder supplements — and even then, I’d still encourage you to give it a try. With a few attempts — it’s now a staple in my morning coffee or smoothie — I was able to integrate the supplement into my daily life.

After a quick learning period, Perelel’s Daily Resilience Complex was a good fit for me, and I’ll continue to use it. Pregnant, postpartum, or perimenopausal: It works for different ages and stages of life. I wish I’d had this after my two pregnancies!
