It’s the unofficial end of summer—where did time go? Labor Day in the US, first celebrated in 1882, marks the recognition of the workers who put in long hours to progress our lives—and our economy—forward. Needless to say, though, we still have a long way to go for labor and income equality.

But this week also means that we’re seeing sales cropping up everywhere—from storefronts to websites, many brands use this moment for promotion before the holidays. But, it also means prices are more accessible, which means more folks can access higher-priced sustainable and durable goods. Because finding more sustainable choices on a smaller budget can be difficult, and we’ve found seasonal sales to be one of the most helpful approaches.
